Single parent residents, especially Single Moms in the Greater Long Beach, Los Angeles County, San Bernadino County, Orange County, and San Diego County communities are all welcome and invited to attend... don't forget to tell a friend!

Our cutting-edge annual community celebration of single parents and unwavering support of their road to success has experienced a consistent growth pattern. This journey began in April 2016 with our initial program event, and the outreach numbers have steadily trekked upwards.
Our annual MSMEF program's evolvment reflects an audience expansion that now includes single parents from as far north as the Antelope Valley, as far northeast as San Bernadino County, as far east as Orange County, and as far south as San Diego County. And, the really good thing is that we still have a seat at the table, in the room, reserved just for you!
The event sponsors range from major corporations and philanthropic organizations to local political entities to private donors... and we encourage others to partner also. Please feel free to also share our program's info with your family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, church members or anyone else who can benefit from it... Yes, You Can!

A Glance Back at the 2026 Empowerment Forum
Celebrating a Decade of Empowerment to Succeed! Speak UP Empowerment Foundation, Inc., (501.c.3), Sullivan International, Inc., & the Long Beach Community Improvement League celebrated a significant milestone on Saturday April 18, 2026, by hosting its 10th Annual Ms. Single Mom Empowerment Forum at the Long Beach Airport Marriott Hotel in the Grand Ballroom. The cost of the empowerment forum was FREE for Single Moms to register & attend.
The single parent residents, especially Single Moms who reside in the Greater Long Beach area, Los Angeles County, Orange County, San Bernadino County, Antelope Valley, and San Diego County communities showed up in mass numbers and also invited their friends! The SUEF, Inc. mentor coaching team accepted new mentor/coach requests onsite. |

Speak Up Empowerment Foundation, Inc. (501.c.3) had to think on its feet and reimage the 5th Annual Ms. Single Mom Empowerment Forum on Saturday April 24, 2021 because of Covid-19 health concerns. The event was streamed online using ZOOM, and the virtual transition increased registration participation and attracted viewers from as faraway as the states of Ohio, Indiana, and Maryland. It received proclamations from the Senate and Mayor.

Speak Up Empowerment Foundation, Inc., and its partners collaborated to virtually host the 6th Annual Ms. Single Mom Empowerment Forum on Apr 23, 2022. The popular empowerment forum was live streamed via Zoom from the LB Airport Marriott. Attendees enjoyed expert speakers; vendors; and numerous cash card & gas card giveaways.

The program was recognized in the LA Business Journal; and received a City Proclamation from LB Mayor, Dr. Robert Garcia. The Ms. Single Mom Mentor Program was introduced to connect attendees!
