April 22, 2023. This popular community celebration is returning live to the LB Airport Marriott Grand Ballroom. Attendees can expect expert speaker panels, great vendor products, and wonderful giveaways. Lunch, Childcare, and Swag bags are included, and meet the 2023 CEL Honorees. |

Speak Up Empowerment Foundation, Inc. collaborated with partners Sullivan International and the Long Beach Community Improvement League to host its 6th Annual Ms. Single Mom Empowerment Forum (virtually) on April 23, 2022. This popular cutting edge community forum & celebration was live streamed via Zoom from the LB Airport Marriott. Attendees experienced expert speakers; vendors; and numerous cash card & gas card giveaways. Lunch & Swag bags were available after the event at the hotel parking lot.

LB Airport Marriott Grand Ballroom | LB, CA 90815 A Glance at 2021!
Speak UP Empowerment Foundation, Inc. (501.c.3) had to think on its feet and reimage the 5th Annual Ms. Single Mom Empowerment Forum on Saturday April 24, 2021 because of Covid-19 health concerns. The pre-Mother's Day event was streamed online using the ZOOM platform. The virtual transition increased registration participation and attracted viewers from as faraway as the state of Maryland. The program received both Senate and Mayoral recognitions.

The Speak UP Empowerment Foundation, Inc., 501c3, collaborated with Sullivan International and the Long Beach Community Improvement League on its 4th Annual Ms. Single Mom Empowerment Forum at the LB Airport Marriott Grand Ballroom on April 13, 2019. The event drew 200+ attendees; Breakfast, lunch, and childcare were included. 30+ attendees connected with a Mentor/Life Coach... Yes, They Did!

On April 21, 2018, the Speak UP Empowerment Foundation, Inc. hosted its 3rd Annual Ms. Single Mom Empowerment Forum. The program was recognized in the Los Angeles Business Journal; and also received a City of Long Beach Proclamation from Mayor Dr. Robert Garcia.

The event was hosted in conjunction with Sullivan International, Inc., our HR & Employee Development partner to offer mentor matching opportunities; and, the LB Community Improvement League, to offer complimentary childcare. |
