College Junior-Year Scholarship Support Program Our scholarship program is developed to assist single moms continue their higher education pursuit. Everyone know that it's easier to start college when the money is flowing, but what do you do when the grants, gifts, and scholarships begin to dry up? How do you continue on the path to your degree? This program is open to single moms entering heryour junior year of college in the fall. If you're a single mom and entering your junior year of college in the fall - and can use some finacial assistance to help pay for upcoming books & stuff... we want to assist you. Let us help because we know that every dollar counts. Apply and see if we can offer you some financial encouragement!
Three (3) lucky scholarship winners will be awarded $500-$1000 each in Apil at the annual Ms. Single Mom Empowerment Forum.
Applications for our College Junior-Year Scholarship program are accepted from January 1st to February 28th of your sophomore year.
Basic Requirements include:
Transcripts with an overall 2.0 GPA.
Two academic (2) letters of recommendation.
A written 2-page essay detailing how you can & will empower the community with your leadership skillset.
Each scholarship award is contingent upon proof of your educational continuance in the fall of your junior year.
